Publicly Funded PreK
Vermont's Universal Prekindergarten (UPK) is a publicly funded program established by Act 166 that provides up to 10 hours per week of high-quality, pre-K education for 3- to 5-year-olds during the school year.
Universal Pre-K in the Windham Southeast School District:
Windham Southeast School District/Supervisory Union has PreK classrooms in Putney, Dummerston, Brattleboro and Guilford. Children must be 4 on or before Sept 1st of current school year. Please contact the school directly for more information.

The District also partners with qualified early education programs throughout the community to provide Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) education to children ages three to five who are not yet eligible for kindergarten. We maintain partnerships with preschools that meet Vermont’s Universal Pre-K requirements.
