Nurse
Nurse Christine joined the Vernon team in 2017. Before coming to Vernon she worked as a substitute School Nurse throughout Windham Southeast, Windham Central and Windham Northeast Supervisory Unions. In addition she worked per diem as a nurse at Landmark College, Marlboro College, The Putney School, Northfield Mount Hermon and was the nurse manager at Austine School for the Deaf before they closed and for two years at Kurn Hattin Homes in Westminster, VT.
Christine lives in Brattleboro with her furry pal Freddie, a loud but loving Yorkie / Long Haired Chihuahua mix, one cat and 4 birds. Birds chirping (and dog barking) can be heard in the background when Nurse Christine is on Zoom. She’s an enthusiastic soccer mom. Son Ben is a senior at BUHS and plays varsity soccer, ultimate frisbee and bowling (2020/2021). Daughter Ruby attends school in Prescott, Arizona studying environmental studies and education (a favorite travel destination for “mother”). Christine loves to cook (and eat), travel, read and sing.
