In their last year at Vernon, students have many special opportunities.  We have a student run school store and a student created yearbook.  Sixth grade students buddy up with Kindergarten pal that they meet with once a week to do special activities.  Our major field trips are Montpelier and Burlington in the spring and a trip to Six Flags in June.  Some sixth graders this year have been trained in Restorative Justice skills, in order to create a more caring school culture.
