I have been at Vernon Elementary School since the 1999-2000 school year. I have taught first grade, fourth grade and enrichment. Previously I taught kindergarten at Saint Michael's. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Vermont and my Master's from the University of Phoenix.
I have been a member of the Vernon School literacy task force for the past two years and was also on the district's literacy task force last year. I have also done course work in Skillful Teacher, Fundations, Investigations, Developing Mathematical Ideas, Time for Teachers, All Kids and LETRS modules.
My husband, Chris and I live in Vernon with our two children. My hobbies outside of school include reading, playing softball and basketball and spending time with my family.
